Wild Hyacinth publishes fiction, poetry, creative nonfiction, and visual art.
The magazine aims to promote new and established Canadian voices, though we also accept international authors.

We accept previously unpublished work
We accept simultaneous submissions. Please email us if your piece has been accepted elsewhere
Submissions should be sent via Google Forms in .docx or .pdf format using the link below during the submission period
Times New Roman and 12 pt font are preferred, but we understand your piece may require a particular style and format
We accept:
Up to 4000 words for prose submissions
Up to 3 poems, each poem a maximum of one page
Published contributors will receive a flat rate of 25 CAD per piece and a complimentary (digital) copy of the issue

Each issue will feature 3 original, previously unpublished works by a Canadian artist reflecting the issue's theme

A maximum of 3 sample pieces
Moodboard, proof of concept or proposal for the artwork you are hoping to present for the issue. This can be in any format.
The successful contributor will receive 25 CAD per published piece, for a total of 75 CAD. They will also receive a complimentary (digital) copy of the issue
